Executive Board Nominations OPEN NOW

We are now accepting nominations for anyone interested in an Executive Board or committee position for the 2025-2026 academic year. You may submit nominations using the link at the bottom of this email.

Deadlines for the '25-'26 election cycle:

• Nominations accepted until March 31st
• Election form opens on April 1st
• Election form closes on April 30th
• 2025-2026 board members announced May 1st (at monthly meeting)

I am attaching the chapter by-laws, which should give you an overview of each position. Please note that all positions listed in the by-laws are available for nominations. Additionally, the board has established three committees you may be interested in joining:

• The Professional Development Committee
  • Under the direction of the Vice President
  • Oversee the development and implementation of the JSU-IAEM EM Skills Development Program
• The Newsletter Committee
  • Under the direction of the Secretary
  • Develop and distribute Chapter newsletters 
• The Scholarship Committee 
  • Under the direction of the Treasurer
  • Manage scholarship forms, requirements, awards, disbursements, etc.
